We at Data Punk Media hope you and yours are having a wonderful holiday. We've been taking some time off but will be starting the engines again next week.
As a preview for 2026, we'll be continuing with our regular free and member-based content on various storytelling topics, but we'll also be adding a new Premium option: a Living Course on Storytelling.
This course will give a detailed and behind-the-scenes view on, for example, how to turn stats into stories through detailed data analyses and predictive modeling, the creation of storylines through your analyses, producing for different platforms, and much more. Think of each module as a complete breakdown of how to build different data stories using our Storytelling Framework.
We'll do this by taking a data story each month and building it end-to-end so you'll be able to create the story alongside us. At the end of the month, we'll publish the data story along with datasets, application code, reports, design templates, how-to webinars, and other resources that you can use to replicate the process for your own data storytelling.
We'll start the year with some pre-planned topics, but our goal will be to eventually develop the living modules in areas and topics that you want us to cover. As we get going, we'll survey you to expand the living course to cover specific events or themes across sports, business and entertainment.
